CCTV Surveillance in Punjab for Matric Intermediate Exams 2025

Task Force CCTV Surveillance in Punjab for Matric Intermediate Exams 2025

In a recent directive issued on December 27, 2024, by the Chairperson of the CM Task Force on Exam Reforms, significant steps have been outlined to bolster the integrity and transparency of the upcoming SSC and HSSC (Part-I & II) examinations scheduled for 2025 in Punjab. As part of ongoing efforts to reform examination processes, the Punjab government is adopting stringent measures to curtail malpractices and ensure a fair testing environment.

A key development in the 2025 examination protocols is the installation of CCTV cameras in all examination rooms across Punjab. This initiative aims to provide a meticulous surveillance system that will deter cheating and other forms of misconduct during the exams. By monitoring examination halls continuously, authorities hope to maintain a stringent oversight, further securing the sanctity of the examination process.

Furthermore, the letter addressed to the Secretary of Higher Education and the Chairman of the Punjab Boards Committee of Chairmen (PBCC) by Rizwan Akhtar, Secretary of the CM Task Force on Examination Reforms / BISE, Lahore, also mandates a significant change in the appointment of examination officials. Superintendents and Deputy Superintendents who served in the 2024 SSC and HSSC examinations will not be eligible for reappointment in the 2025 sessions unless specified otherwise. This decision is intended to prevent any biases or repeated malpractices that could compromise the examinations’ fairness.

The 2025 examinations are poised to set a new benchmark for transparency and efficiency. With the integration of technology through CCTV surveillance and the strategic rotation of examination personnel, Punjab is leading by example in creating an exam environment that upholds integrity and justice. These measures reassure students and parents alike that the educational assessments are conducted fairly, reflecting true and honest performances of the students.

This rigorous approach not only enhances the credibility of the examination process but also reflects the Punjab government’s commitment to upholding educational standards. As these reforms are implemented, they are expected to result in a more reliable and transparent system, ensuring that every student has a fair chance to succeed based on merit and hard work.

Madam CM Punjab Maryam Nawaz and Minister Education Rana Sikandar Hayat are working hard to make education system upto level of internatonal standards.
